Portrait of the American singer/songwriter Jason Mraz, I love his work ^^ and his hats XD. If you haven’t heard of him here are some of his more well known songs: [link] [link] [link] (His vidios are sooo funny XP) Painted using acrylics on watercolour paper. Wanted to try something a bit different this time, so decided to use the different colours to create shades rather than adding white or black to an individual colour, the result was quite interesting  , surprising what you can achieve with out black or white ^^. I was randomly looking at the traditional-painting-portraits, and this was the first one I saw that I liked, after something like three pages.
I like the technique, using a different colour rather than changing the shade, there must be a technical term for that. Anyway, yeah, really good. |
